Until the age of 14, Joëlle never left her village in the Swiss German mountains. But everything changed when her father, a former sound and light technician with Circus Monti and Circus Knie, decided to take her whole family on tour. The caravan life, the traveling, the sense of community, the artists and the shows made this the most influential experience of her life. For 2 years she trained with the artists and every evening watched the shows under the big top. When she turned 16, Joelle was accepted at the École Nationale de Cirque de Châtellerault in France where she specialized in Chinese Pole. However, she dreamt of becoming a hand-to-hand flyer. In 2016, she was accepted at theNational Circus School in Montreal. Since her graduation in 2019 she has toured the world with Cirque Éloize, Cirque du Soleil, Circus Monti and she joined The 7 Fingers for several events as well as the cast ofDuel Reality in Virgin Voyages.
