MICHAEL PATTERSON

was born and raised in London, UK. At the age of 5 he started martial arts and later won a bronze medal in the 2012 Taekwondo World Championships.His passion for circus came at the age of 8 by joining Albert & Friends Instant Circus. Michael discovered his love of performance on the streets of London and it quickly became his favorite hobby, performing in hundreds of street shows with the troupe.He studied theaterthroughout his academic career and graduated with a diploma inDrama. Combining his love of acting, circus and hip-hop, he performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as a variety of youth circus festivals throughout Europe and with the American Youth Circus Organization in Seattle, Washington. In 2014, Michael was accepted to the École Nationale de Cirque in Montreal where he specialized inHand toHand. Since his graduation he has performed with Cirque Eloize, Cirque du Soleil, Circus Monti, and multiple shows and events with The 7 Fingers.
